Its a great news from Samsung for those who are really Bad users of mobile phones. Samsung launched a waterproof Mobile phone called "Samsung Marine-B2100" in Indian market. "Samsung Marine is the perfect companion for consumers who enjoy active outdoor activities," said Mr Sunil Dutt , Country Head , Samsung Mobile Division.

The phone has water protection as well as dust protection features as USP. The company claims that the phone is adaptable for all the tough environmental conditions like sand, fog, rain, humidity & extreme hot as well as cold temperature. This phone suits for mountaineers, mariners, trekkers and to all those who enjoy outdoor activities. Oh one more thing is that the phone is shock proof too.

Rough & tough features:

1. Marine is apparently IP57 certified and is tested under the regulations defined by the US Department of Defence with Military Standard 810F.

2. Powerful battery offering 9.5-hours of talk time & up to 600 hours of standby time.

3. It supports IP57 certification. Just drop the Marine B2100 in water of up to a metre in depth, and leave it there for 30 minutes. Samsung says nothing will go wrong!

Nokia 5530 Quick Preview

1) Enhanced homescreen (contacts bar + applications/widget shortcut)

4) The built quality is not as sturdy as the Nokia 5800. It is even more plasticky than the Nokia 5800 especially the back cover. It is however much slimmer in form factor.

6) Screen more vibrant in colours compared to Nokia 5800. Apparently there are more pixel count on the screen.

NOKIA N-79

The N79, on the other hand, is the successor to the N78.
